Police say an actor on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” was arrested in Scottsdale after he caused a scene at a hotel bar. Days of Our Lives actor Casey Moss was arrested on Monday, October 26, after he allegedly tried to punch a hotel bartender in suburban Phoenix, Ariz.

Moss was held down until Scottsdale officers arrived. Moss was yelling and cursing at the Hotel staff. The first Scottsdale officer handcuffed Moss and attempted to escort him out of the bar.
Police said Moss was intoxicated and instigated an altercation with bar staff after being cut off. Officers said Moss argued with a bartender and was restrained by a friend. Moss then pushed a member of the staff before being brought down by the bouncer according to ABC 15.
He then struggled to pull away, and the officer reportedly took him to the ground to stop the struggle. When asked what his name was, he yelled, “I’m Casey Moss and I’m an actor on Days of Our Lives”.
Moss was released from jail Tuesday and is now scheduled to be in court for an arraignment on November 2.

The actor was in town with several co-stars for a book signing at a Tempe bookstore celebrating the NBC show’s 50th anniversary.
