Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy takes place on Wednesday at 7 pm PT. The game will not be aired locally in Los Angeles, and will only be available on UniMás.

The MLS regular season came to an end this weekend (you can read about the playoffs here) and more than 55,000 fans turned up to watch the Seattle Sounders’ final game against Real Salt Lake, enough for the team to set a new average attendance record of 44,245.
Seattle had been eliminated by Los Angeles in the playoffs three times since 2010.
A star-studded Galaxy side featuring former England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and Ireland worldwide Robbie Keane paid the price for a shoddy defensive display as Seattle advanced to the next round.
“That explains the reason why everyone is a bit flat and a bit down because we haven’t finished the good move and the good play off”, added Gerrard, who has scored only two goals in 13 appearances for his club.
“We haven’t rewarded ourselves for all the good play”.
Speaking toMLSSoccer.com before jetting off to the Pacific Northwest, the 35-year-old Englishman said: “A lot of players seem to be a lot more upbeat than myself, so maybe I need my teammates’ help and guidance. I think we gift-wrapped this game”.
“Like every year, there’s going to be changes”.
“We’ve played so much there we kind of know the field probably more than anybody else in this league”. The round is a one-game, winner-take-all match, and LA-Seattle is arguably the biggest game of the first round this year, one in which two of the best teams in the league the past several seasons will be squaring off in a surprisingly early point in the postseason. And they’ve dropped their last two playoff games at CenturyLink Field, in the 2012 and 2014 Western Conference finals, but those second-leg losses might as well count as victories: L.A. advanced both times en route to MLS Cup titles.

“I certainly feel we fell off a bit of late, over the last eight or nine games, but as they say in football, you’ve got a chance to resurrect that”.
