The star of “James Bond” Daniel Craig recently called his character a “misogynist” and said he should not be viewed as a role model.

While promoting the 2012 Bond film “Skyfall”, Harris was kept from revealing the identity of her character since they didn’t confirm that she was indeed Moneypenny until the end of the movie. “She’s quite capable and independent”, she continued.

Naomie Harris looked absolutely a-mazing at last night’s world premiere of Spectre in London. Definitely expect (sexual chemistry).

The gender of the Bond legacy has become a recent topic of discussion, with Harris saying she does not think it is a bad idea to have a female play the spy. You’re going to fall in love with Bond.

Naomie praised the cast and crew, who had also worked on Skyfall, describing them “like a family”.

She said director Sam Mendes had to reassure her the same level of training wouldn’t be required for her desk-bound return in the sequel.

“[Swann] is supposed to have the traditional role of being rescued, but actually she rejects his help and is like “I’ve got this, I’ll do this on my own”…She certainly isn’t a weak, Bond girl of old that needs rescuing”.

“I can go on the tube, the buses”, she said.

“I think Moneypenny could do with more power in the decision-making part of things but no action, thanks”.

Speaking about Miss Moneypenny, she shared: “She’s the only person Bond can trust”.

Monica Bellucci, who at 51 is the oldest ever Bond leading lady in new film SPECTRE, came second, ahead of Maud Adams who was 38 in Octopussy. Moneypenny is the only one he can confide in about the true nature of his mission and she helps him’.

Co-star Lea Seydoux also changed from her gold sequinned Prada gown into a pink print dress.

She told the Radio Times magazine: “It’s changed my career”. I wouldn’t have got that role if I hadn’t done Bond. “Daniel wasn’t particularly well known – very revered actor but was not a huge global star – so I suspect it would be good if it was someone like that who’s just under the radar a bit at the moment”. “Financiers look at you differently because you appeal to a much wider demographic”.
