Belichick on Lewis availability: ‘We’ll see tomorrow’
The Dolphins injury report remained identical Tuesday, with the one exception being Chris McCain returning to practice after missing Monday because of non-injury reasons. Lewis, who is dealing with an abdomen ailment, has been on the injury report the last two weeks.

New England Patriots fans and fantasy football owners will have to wait until Thursday night to find out if running back Dion Lewis will play against the Miami Dolphins. Obviously, it is hard to predict what that really means after the Patriots held him out after practicing last week, but being on the practice field is a good sign.
WR Keshawn Martin – Hamstring (LP) – Martin will also be a game time decision, but he’s the 4th or 5th wide receiver on the depth chart, along side Aaron Dobson.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick implied Lewis will be a game-time decision.
Belichick then added a little levity to the room when he said, “Based on that, a lot of us could have got through practice”.
Lewis is questionable after being limited in practice, though Belichick said the team didn’t do much of anything on the field this week. “My mom probably could’ve gotten through practice”.
“Yeah, I don’t think we – most of those kind of decisions are game-time decisions”, Belichick said. “Sometimes [the injuries] declare earlier than that, but generally you don’t want to take a player out a day-and-a-half before the game and test them when you could give them another 36 hours and test them”.

With Lewis out against the Jets, the Patriots used James White as their primary running back as part of a game plan that relied heavily on the passing game.
