Nintendo on Wednesday reported earnings for the six-month period ended September 30, revealing that the Wii U sold just 1.19 million units over the past six months. The tweet explains that Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition will be available on the eShop starting October 29, with a 25 percent discount for anyone who buys it between then and November 11. Not only did it re-invent over-the-shoulder shooting mechanics, which have been used in pretty much every third person action game ever since, it featured groundbreaking enemy AI, a unique spin on quicktime events, and a few of the best visuals that had ever been seen at the time of its release (all the more impressive as the Gamecube was seen as an underpowered console).

In the gist of the scuffle, he will meet Ada Wong, a spy that was first introduced in “Resident Evil 2”. Not only is Resident Evil 4 one of the defining games of the sixth generation, but also one of the most influential games of all time.

According to Christian Post, the popularity of “Resident Evil 4” garnered it with numerous awards in 2005, including a “Game of the Year” title. There is no word whether the game version will be released to North America. So with the Wii U, gamers who did not get a chance to play it on the Wii, or gamers who want to replay it on their Wii U will now have a chance of doing so.
