So, Golden State can complete other moves and then exceed the cap to re-sign Barnes.

Harrison Barnes and the Golden State Warriors have tabled contract-extension negotiations until after the season, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The Warriors played their opener Tuesday night against New Orleans.
“It doesn’t change our position with him”, Myers said. “We had great discussions, very amicable. He just wants to focus on the games”.
Barnes, speaking to reporters shortly after Myers did, echoed his motive for ending negotiations six days before the official, NBA-mandated deadline. “After this season, hopefully after another parade, we can do this again”.
“There’s a lot riding on this season, just in terms of the possibility of going back-to-back”.
Barnes spoke to media about his decision, saying he “wanted to put this to rest today”, but doesn’t see his contract situation being a problem for him on the court.
The 23-year-old Barnes was a first-round draft pick in 2012.
The 23-year-old, who averaged 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists en route to Golden State’s first National Basketball Association championship in 40 years last season, is now set to decide his long-term future next year. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are the stars, and Green is locked up for the long term, but players like Barnes and Ezeli likely will find more money on the free-agent market. The Warriors will have an opportunity to match any outside offer sheet.
Myers previously spoke optimistically about reaching an agreement with Barnes before the season started.
Sports that the Golden State Warriors small forward was offered a contract extension worth $64 million for 4 years.
