Chelsea boss Mourinho again loses but… ‘Everything fantastic!’
Mourinho cut short the interview after taking exception to a question about Chelsea’s defending for Stoke’s goal in the game that went to penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Chelsea played well in the first half despite the loss of striker Diego Costa, who Mourinho said had come off due to a rib injury and gone to hospital. What the players did tonight is face a few people that write and speak, and said: “You are stupid'”, the 52-year-old was quoted as saying by the Mirror. You think the players didn’t give everything to win the game?
“That is really sad – not sad for me but sad for the players, and I think it is a lack of respect to the players, not to me”.
Things went from bad to worse for Stoke as defender Phil Bardsley received his second booking of the night for a lunge into Kenedy, and the hosts had to play 30 minutes with 10 men.
And the Portuguese says his players deserved to make it through and will be frustrated with the result. He did it in the past and he could still do it. But I do not think he will leave Chelsea.
“And Thursday will be one more day like I have in the last 15 years of my life: honest and dedicated”.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho shown on the bench during the League Cup match against Stoke City on Tuesday night.
“It’s my firm belief there needs to be an urgent summit meeting between Jose Mourinho, Bruce Buck, the chairman of Chelsea, Richard Scudamore, the chief executive of the Premier League, and Mike Riley, general manager of PGMOL”, he said.
“It’s hard. It’s more hard when you play bad and lose than play well and lose”.
Mourinho addressed the media after the game, the first time he had spoken publicly since Friday after refusing to speak to the press following the controversial 2-1 defeat to West Ham last weekend. The match between Hull and Leicester finished nil-nil, but Riyad Mahrez put Leicester ahead in extra time, only for Hull’s Abel Hernandez to level and force penalties, which Hull won 5-4.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes said: “He made any number of saves”.

Jurgen Klopp is still searching for his win since moving to Anfield, and Liverpool supporters will no doubt relish the opportunity to see that duck broken against a team they have had their fair share of battles with in recent years.
