Halloween in the Ohio Valley Begins at ‘Trunk or Treat’
He said the reason the Elks Lodge is putting on the event is so that the kids in the community can have a safe place to trick-or-treat without parents having to worry about walking on the streets and what they’ll get in their goodie bags. It is hosted by Louisville Pure Tap. There will be a climbing wall, dinner, trunk or treat, games and more.

Forest Oaks AFL, 6-7:30 pm residents will be passing out candy. Costumes are optional. We will also be running a trolley between the Crescent Hill Reservoir and our treatment plant for tours. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m.to 8 p.m.

Rock Springs Church will have its Fall Festival from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. Food, games, bounce houses and prizes are planned. The free event will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.in the Sid Richardson gymnasium on the college campus.
Thrills and chills, combined with sugar highs and cavity risks, await Texomans of all ages this Halloween weekend. It’s from 1 p.m.to 4 p.m.at the Rauch Planetarium on University of Louisville’s campus. The cost is $5 per person. See more on their Facebook page about this deal.
Those who wish to hand out candy are asked to leave a front porch light on to signal to trick or treaters the household is giving out candy. Mistake? Probably, but they enjoyed it! Indoor trick or treating, inflatable, candy, face painting, music, and more.
“It’s actually a really big event, we do quite a bit with it. With this event it’s something that we’ve been doing for the last six years, we team up with 94 Key and a couple of other organizations in town”, he said. It’s a little something different to do! Love Your Neighbor interfaith potluck dinner will be held from 3 to 8 p.m.at Barfield Crescent Park, Pavilion 7, 697 Veterans Parkway in Murfreesboro.
Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church, 100 W. Elm St., is hosting a trunk or treat on Saturday, October 31 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 2433 Mt. Herman Road in Murfreesboro (off Bradyville Pike), hosts “The Judgment” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The alternative haunted house features real-life scenes that visitors walk through inside the church.
