Singer Justin Bieber has triumphed at the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Milan, winning a total of five awards. “That’s where I belong, right up there on that stage”. “I’m not a guy; I don’t really feel like a woman, but obviously I was born one”, Rose told Elle earlier this year. “For the most part, I definitely don’t identify as any gender”. “I want to keep it classy and classical”.

Duran Duran received the first ever MTV Video Visionary Award for their strong visual presence and for influencing a generation of musicians with a few of the best music videos.

Rose, who served as a co-host for the MTV EMAs alongside British singer Ed Sheeran, addressed the audience thusly: “Ladies and gentleman, and everyone in-between”.

He seemed shocked with his first win as he was given the Best Live Act – no doubt a much-appreciated win as he has just released his first live concert film, Jumpers For Goalposts.

In the Best Female category Taylor will battle it out with Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, while to take home the prestigious Best Song statuette she’ll have to wrestle with Ellie for “Love Me Like You Do”, Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Lean On”, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” and “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.

Music producer Naughty Boy, who had a very public Twitter spat with One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, said he is being kept busy promoting his new single, Runnin’ (Lose It All) that features Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin.

Fingers crossed he got a good kip in the end.
