Pierre-Paul returns to Giants
The logical course of action, should Pierre-Paul pass a physical, is for the sides to agree to a revised, incentive-laden contract. We wouldn’t be too sure about that. If the Giants rescind the tender, Pierre-Paul becomes an unrestricted free agent. And when the team broached the subject of reworking his contract (to a much lower salary) so he could sign and rehab with them, he balked and went home. It’s also worth noting that Pierre-Paul, according to sources, expected the Giants to clear him to play when he was first examined by their team doctors September 7. And judging from Pierre Paul’s Monday afternoon tweet, things seem to have gone well. There is always a chance that the Giants postpone the meeting again, but for now, it is scheduled to take place on Tuesday. If they can’t, Pierre-Paul would be forced to sit out the entire season.

Jason Cole of Bleacher Report reported that Pierre-Paul, who arrived at the team’s facility on Monday before being whisked into a series of medical examinations, is ready to sign his tender and play right away.
More Giants: Is It Time To Move On From Jason Pierre-Paul? The Giants pass rush is nothing special, but they still have a few young playmakers that could be developed into stars. According to multiple reports, Jason Pierre-Paul met with the team on Monday to evaluate his injury, which kept has him off the field for the first seven weeks of the season. If he doesn’t sign by November. 17, Pierre-Paul will have to wait until 2016 to play football again.

Last time around, the Giants brought up the idea of giving him lesser money. If he wants to make anything of this season earnings wise, and prove that he is healthy enough to play, that may be his only option. They can not afford to experiment with Pierre-Paul and see what he is capable of doing at this point in the season.
