Rob Ford Has a New Tumor Growing in his Abdomen
A Toronto radio station reports that the brother of Rob Ford says the former Toronto mayor has hit a “bump in the road” in his recovery from cancer.

“At this time, we are still awaiting testing results to determine if it is related to the previous growths, as well as whether it is malignant”, the release states.
Ford had been experiencing abdominal pain recently, which prompted new examinations and testing by his medical team at Mount Sinai Hospital.
The statement said more information will be released about Ford’s condition as it becomes available “pending approval” from Ford and his family.
Thank you everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers, I remain optimistic that I will be able to overcome this setback.
Ford was campaigning for re-election when he was first diagnosed with cancer last September.
He says he has been undergoing treatment for the new tumour.
After months of denials, Ford in 2013 acknowledged he had smoked crack cocaine in one of his “drunken stupors”, but he refused to resign. After he fell ill, he dropped out of the race and ran instead for the City Council, winning a seat.

Doctors said they removed that tumour and saw no sign of other tumours or that the cancer had spread, Ford’s aide said at the time.
