Blue Bell announces new ice cream delivery

Customers can now have it delivered to their front door.

Cries were possibly heard across the Lone Star state since Blue Bell announced they were pulling all of their products out of freezers in April after listeria was found in a few cartons of ice cream. The high price is largely due to shipping, but that won’t stand in between Blue Bell lovers and their sweet frozen treats!

For $129, Blue Bell will ship four half-gallon containers via UPS Next Day Delivery.

For now the company is still only offering the five flavors that are already in stores in the Houston and Austin areas – Homemade Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, Cookies n’ Cream, Buttered Pecan and The Great Divide. Shipments go out Monday through Wednesday each week and only a limited number of orders will be accepted each day, the company said. Specifically, Blue Bell delivery, which, even in spite of a recall earlier this year, is one of the best.

The ice cream will return to North Texas, Waco and southern Oklahoma stores on November 2.
