Building a game this ambitious and having it be as polished as possible takes time, so the team has decided it would be best to delay the title in order to make it meet their high standards.

DICE’s Mirror’s Edge Catalyst can be officially added to the list of delayed games.

The May release date for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst also gives the game a bit of breathing room from all of the new releases scheduled for early 2016.

All that was said that “we’ve made the decision to bring Mirror’s Edge to the world starting May 24, 2016”.

The parkour sequel will now appear in stores on May 24, 2016.

With the extra months of development time, DICE plans on making “sure that when you step into the massive City of Glass and experience the rise of Faith, it’s as entertaining, impressive, and memorable as it can be”. Stay tuned to OnlySP on Facebook and Twitter for further updates on Mirror’s Edge Catalyst as we have them.
