“Constructing a brand-new fiber community is a big job”, Google Fiber’s Jill Szuchmacher, director of expansion, wrote in its latest blog.
Similar to the work it started in Irvine, Calif., Louisville, Ky., and San Diego, Google Fiber said these cities are good candidates as they all have a number of new small businesses popping up. Google threw Kansas City viewers another curve ball Tuesday night when its ultra-fast Internet and TV service went down during the first game of the World Series. That’s of course on top of existing Provo, Kansas City and Austin live markets, and currently-underway builds in San Antonio, Salt Lake City, Raleigh/Durham, Nashville, Atlanta, and Charlotte.

After it makes plans with these three new cities, Google will decide whether or not it will introduce Google Fibre to those cities.
