November 2015’s Games with Gold announced for Xbox One and Xbox 360

Backwards compatibility on the Xbox One, allowing it to play Xbox 360 games, is around the corner and will be a part of the New Xbox One Experience come November 12th. Effectively, Xbox One owners now get four free games each month instead of two.

For the Xbox 360, DiRT 3 will be available for the first half of the month, just in case you haven’t invested in a next-gen racer yet.

Knight Squad along with its multiplayer swords and action aspects: Available for download from 16 November until 15 December.

It will be no surprise that you access the DLC you will have to own it. If not, you’ll have to purchase it through Xbox.com or an Xbox 360 console.

The much awaited Xbox 360 backwards compatibility has been the talk of the gaming community since its announcement.

Microsoft is promising 100 games will be backwards compatible on November 12, although it has yet to publish a full list of titles.

For Lego fans, a console bundle for “The Lego Movie” game is also available for the same price. The games will automatically show up in the “Ready to Install” section of “My games & apps”. This first-person game takes them to a world filled with puzzles they have to solve. Xbox One owners can now also enjoy playing multiplayer with friends, whether on the Xbox One or Xbox 360.

The last game coming to Xbox 360 in November is Dungeon Siege III. “But our focus is making sure that our Xbox fans have all the best games, and I think we’re delivering that with Call of Duty and the rest of our games lineup”.

Keeping such in mind, the discounts are available for Xbox Gold members who now have an active account from the Digital Storefront. In the game’s main mode, players participate in a range of events to unlock new vehicles.

Xbox Live unveils free games for November
