‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ Update: PC Version Relaunch Happens Today, October 28
Of course, people for whom the game is working fine are less likely to march over to the message board and report that all is well, but there are already hundreds of mostly negative comments complaining about performance issues.

By most accounts, Arkham Knight is a vastly better game with the patches, meaning it’s a different game from the one that shipped in June. The PC version also “now supports all add-on content that has been released thus far for console”. For Windows 10 players, Warner Bros. says, “having at least 12GB of system RAM on a PC allows the game to operate without paging and provides a smoother gameplay experience”.
After yanking the game from Steam and store shelves, developers at Rocksteady Studios got busy stomping out bugs and cleaning up the game’s code. While that’s an excellent value, odds are if you bought Arkham Knight, you own or have owned those games previously (well maybe not Blackgate, but that’s a pretty mediocre game), so a few players may feel pretty poorly compensated in this case.
Good news, Batman fans, the final installment in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight, is all polished up (presumably) and once again available on the PC.
In addition, a new map pack will be made available, called the “Community Challenge Pack”. It takes the form of a contest in which the Steam community can submit Arkham-themed items for Team Fortress up through November 16, 2015. The winning items will be given to those who purchased Arkham Knight on Steam before the contest ends on November 16.
Free digital copies of games from the Batman: Arkham library.
With all of the problems with Batman: Arkham Knight the fact is that gamers will want a product that works, and if performance does not hit what they expect they do have every right to complain.
