Raven-Symoné Says There’s “Two Wrongs” In Spring Valley High School Attack

While commenting on the Spring Valley High School incident, where a police officer aggressively took down a student, Symoné said the cop wasn’t the only person at fault.

Explained Symone, “The girl was told multiple times to get off the phone. There’s not right or reason for him to be doing this type of harm, that’s ridiculous”, she said. First of all, why are there cell phones in school?

But she seems to believe that the responsibility of avoiding the assault was on the female student, and claims that if the student had followed the rules “this shouldn’t even be a problem to begin with”.

There was no mention, however, of the massive backlash the actress received after her comments about the incident from Tuesday’s show.

The View co-host and former child star commented on a recent news story that is making headlines, and the Internet isn’t pleased. However, she’s not holding back opinions even after that and now she is the target of angry tweets disagreeing with her thoughts about the Spring Valley High arrest video that she expressed on hit TV show The View.

Collins interrupted Faris by saying, “But you also should not beat students…I’m sorry, I mean…that looked like CGI”. South Carolina Deputy Ben Fields was asked to remove a student from the classroom who wouldn’t get off her cell phone, but the situation quickly got out of hand.

We’d hate to agree, but we’re just not sure why Raven keeps failing to support her community when she has such a public platform to potentially do good.

“[The officer] talked to her for 30 seconds and she still didn’t get up… she still didn’t put the phone away”, she added.
