Adele said that she is equally excited about the special.
“This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music, and her stories is a truly rare treat”, he said.
The BBC has supported Adele since the beginning of her career.
Regardless, we’ll be watching!
Called Adele at the BBC, the special will be her first televised appearance since she performed the Bond theme “Skyfall” at the 2013 Academy Awards.
Accompanied by her live band, the singer will, for the first time perform few of the songs from her upcoming album, along with some of her classic tracks on the show.
When Adele announces a new album, everyone tries to scoop her up for promotional interviews and performances.
If you’ve found yourself listening to Adele’s new single, “Hello”, over and over again, you are not alone. BBC Worldwide is also offering global distributors the chance to air the special, either as the complete 60-minute version or as a 45-minute performance-only version.
Fans wanting to be in the audience can apply for ballot tickets, with registration open now until midnight on Wednesday 28 October.
Keeping up with the tradition of christening her album after her age, her third album 25, however, is not a break-up album, it is a “make-up” album, according to the artist.
