“The lady was jogging-walking her dog here at Debs Park when she discovered two bodies”.

The coroner’s office reported that a security hold ordered by investigators precluded the release of the other victim’s name. The discovery had police swarming around the park for the rest of the day. “I got shocked because I’ve never seen this before”.

Homicide detectives were sent to the scene. “I’m so scared. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen this situation there”, said Mayra Majano, who’s lived in the area for more than 25 years.

Authorities said the women, who are believed to be between the ages of 18 to 25-years-old, were found fully clothed.

She says the case is alarming, especially for people who regularly use the park, about 20 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.

A preliminary investigation revealed the women appeared to have been murdered.
