Trump, not Carson, can reach black voters, says Peterson
Marco Rubio bid forcefully for control of the Republican Party’s establishment wing in Wednesday night’s third Republican debate, deflecting jabs from Jeb Bush, who desperately sought to right his floundering campaign. “We can’t elect somebody that doesn’t know how to do the job”.

“You can’t do it with empty promises”. But the majority of scientists, he added, “are telling me that greenhouse gas effects are real, that we’re heating up our planet”.
“Last night, all of the polls – every single one of ’em – said I won”, Trump bragged, referring to online questionnaires taken during and after the debate.
The battle hosted in the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado Boulder will focus on the economy.
“This is not a cage match”, Cruz said.
According to the Core Political Approval Poll conducted by Ipsos/Reuters, Carson has bumped up to 27% and Trump to 29%, placing them both at a statistical tie considering the margin of error. But that could change given Carson’s strength in recent surveys.
Trump largely refrained from personal attacks on his rivals, which has been a signature of his campaign, even taking a light touch with Carson. They can not legally coordinate with campaigns.
If the election is going to be about fighting to get nothing done, he says, “I don’t want any part of it”.
Jeb’s challenges have been evident since Trump and Carson announced their insurgent candidacies, but the past week has allowed a clearer picture of his campaign’s dire straits.
Trump said he’d come to expect ill treatment from a biased press and therefore wasn’t as angry as a few of the other candidates or the Republican National Committee about CNBC’s handling of the debate.
With a well-funded super PAC standing by, Bush doesn’t appear to be on the brink of a campaign collapse.
Rubio fired back, saying Bush never took issue with Sen. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel, which had endorsed him, said in an editorial Wednesday that Rubio should resign. “We need someone with a proven conservative record that voters can trust”, Miller said. “I mean, literally, the Senate, what is it like, a French workweek?”
“Iowa, will you get your numbers up, please?” He cited several senators, including Barack Obama, who missed even more votes while running for president. “I will not say that”.
At one point, Bush was asked if government should regulate fantasy football like gambling.
“Well, first of all, I’m 7-0 in my fantasy football league”, Bush said.
And unfortunately for Trump, one of those skeptics is moderating the debate.
Hours before Wednesday night’s Republican debate, Mr. Bush’s supporters unveiled a new Twitter account dedicated to mocking Mr. Rubio’s voting record in the Senate. Rand Paul, and others said the retirement and eligibility ages needed to be raised.
Also on stage will be Ohio Gov. John Kasich, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Kentucky Sen. He suggested that amounted to government theft.
What’s a Donald Trump campaign for president look like if he’s no longer the only front-runner for the Republican nomination? “We lose with trade, we lose with ISIS”, he said.
Carson said it was absurd to allege he’s connected to the company.
Trump has also become increasingly negative. He’s reducing his campaign’s Miami headquarters and dismissing staffers, cutting payrolls by more than 40 per cent, shifting paid consultants to volunteer roles and refocusing efforts on New Hampshire, where advisors believe he can make greatest headway.
