The recall involving the airbag problem affects 351,989 units of the 2003 Jeep Liberty and 2004Jeep Grand Cherokee sport-utility vehicles, including 284,089 in the U.S. Fixes will be made for free.

The automaker said it has received reports of 19 injuries. Dealers will replace the occupant restraint control computer or the side impact sensors.

The vehicles recalled Friday were not part of either the 2012 or January air bag recalls, the company said.

Chrysler will recall 58,643 of its imported 2011-2015 Dodge Journey SUVs in China after finding fire risks in the vehicles, the media reported on Thursday. The replacement parts needed for this remedy are not expected to be available until the early part of 2016.

FCA U.S. said it is not aware of any injuries or accidents related to the condition, which is often preceded by an instrument-cluster warning light.

The company said it wants to prevent moisture buildup that could eventually damage Anti-Lock Brake System modules.

Regular, foundation braking functions are not affected. Chrysler’s number for this recall is R60. But this year is still far above the prior record of 30.8 million vehicles set in 2004.
