‘Walking Dead’: Did Last Night’s Shocking Death Actually Happen?
Let’s look at the evidence, shall we? Cohan said of Glenn’s death-defying record when our on runs. But they wound up trapped on a dumpster surrounded by the zombies.

In the recent “The Walking Dead” season 6 episode titled “Thank You”, Glenn and Nicholas were planning to set the store on fire to divert the zombies invading Alexandria. Nicholas clearly fell on him.
Firstly, Gimple insisted that he’s “not going to answer” whether Glenn is really dead.
And would Glenn, who has become one of the show’s most popular characters, meet his end in such a gruesome manner?
Now, all of that is well and good, but HOW COULD GLENN HAVE SURVIVED??
Unlike with Jon Snow, fans won’t have to wait months to find out whether or not Glenn is alive. If you are a fan of the comics, then you know that this is not the way Glenn meets his fate.
Maybe the walkers won’t notice little Glenn below, and he’ll be able to scramble under the dumpster?
The Walking Dead airs on FOX in the United Kingdom and on AMC in the US. Unlike Hershel, however, there’s room for speculation as to whether Glenn actually was killed.
Yeun also mentioned how things were “poignant and purposeful and meaningful” on TWD. Here’s to you, Glenn Rhee. But, after Nicholas (Michael Traynor) killed himself and accidentally dragged Glenn off into the undead masses (to apparently have his guts ripped out by walkers), it seemed the fan favorite was officially gone.
A major character appeared to have died on the Sunday, October 25, episode of The Walking Dead. But Yeun was nowhere to be seen. OK.
But FEAR NOT, Glenn fans!
I’m relatively new to Walking Dead fandom but the Internet assures me that after every episode, Chris Hardwick takes viewers through all the deaths on the show and features them in a montage segment.
Then again, adding strength to Gimple’s comments tonight, Yeun has been filming on the second part of the current sixth season – a season that is still in production in Georgia. While it’s possible he is dead, our feeling at this point is more that it will be interesting to see how the writers go about this story if he’s still alive.
Yes, that does sound ominous, like we will see body parts or see him as a walker, but again, Gimple is a master at deception and after thinking about it I realized it could mean something totally different. He’s never done it for any other character death, why would he do it now here?
The supposed death of Glenn was also too telegraphed as in the episode, he talked about how much he loves Maggie and that he would die to protect her and the community. Of course, that can be done in flashbacks.
