Revelations that Clinton relied on personal email and a private Internet server during her tenure at the State Department have only heightened the Republicans’ interest in determining whether more information exists about the attack that killed Stevens and three other Americans. He sought to deflect recent comments by fellow Republicans describing the investigation as an effort to lower Clinton’s poll standings.
Asked what she did after the marathon hearing ended late into the night on Thursday, Clinton said, “Well, I had my whole team come over to my house and we sat around eating Indian food and drinking wine and beer”.
