Arjun Kapoor replaces Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Rohit Shetty

With Arjun Kapoor as the host of the big-ticket show “Khatron Ke Khiladi”, the channel aims to not only attract youngsters but also an audience base comprising middle-aged and older women.

According to Ms Delna Avari, Head – Marketing Communications & Service, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, “It’s been an exciting year for Tata Motors with new products, new marketing interventions which have helped us connect with our audience effectively”. Commenting on the all-new season, Deepak Dhar, Managing Director, Endemol Shine India said, “This season Khatron Ke Khiladi -Kabhi Peeda, Kabhi Keeda will be a gruelling challenge for the contestants!”

The show “Khatron Ke Khiladi” is all about daredevil stunts and he says he does not have any fears.

Apart from Jay, Sidharth and Faisal, other contestants taking a plunge into the danger zone of the show are Jay’s wife Mahhi Vij, former Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan, actors Tanishaa Mukerji, Sana Saeed, Himmanshoo Malhotra, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Tina Dutta, Vivan Bhatena, Indian hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki and dancing stalwarts Mukti Mohan and Raghav Juyal. And the one actor who stands in absolute tandem with all these aspects is Arjun Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor will bring in his quintessential sense of humor and happy-go-lucky attitude to this edition of Fear Factor India. “He has already added a bit of his flavour by suggesting the term ‘Keeda, ‘ which we have now added to our tagline for this season”.

When queried as to what impact the rise in viewership of FTA channels would have on a premium channel like Colors, Nayak replied, “Once the rural data was integrated, the free-to-air channels were bound to grow”.

But Nayak is quick to add that the channel will not be tweaking content. “If rural happens by default, it’s great, but we can’t tweak content for two Indias”. I need to focus on what I am good at. “It can only be either or and we have made our choice”, says Nayak. Advertisers spend maximum in LC1 and urban areas. “We will tweak its content to meet rural requirements and strengthen it further”, he informed. “Right now, one can’t do without using all the mediums at their disposal”. Arjun told to media. “He understands the language”, Nayak shared.

More details of the show are yet to announce like the participants’ names and timings of the show.
