Hot-headed Kyrgios has divided opinion across the tennis world thanks to controversy on and off court at Wimbledon this week.

The crowd gathered on court 2 weren’t impressed one bit by the antics of Kyrgios.

He was firstly given a code violation for an “audible obscenity” while dropping a service game, before getting involved in a furious bust-up with umpire James Keothavong.

“I guess my mum gets upset and that sort of thing”. There were some big hits on display, but Serena managed to beat her sister in straight sets.

The effort remained minimal, as two more games raced by, albeit peppered with some spectacular shot-making when Kyrgios fancied showing the crowd his talent. However, he was outplayed in the fourth set tie-break, and Gasquet wrapped up the match.

While Kyrgios’s foul mouth and feuds with Wimbledon umpires have captured all the attention, tennis officials haven’t deemed the young Australian firebrand’s conduct worthy of any sanctioning. “Everyone now and then wants a hug”, he said.

Kyrgios could be fined $20,000 for the action. Despite Kyrgios’s claim, the ball-boy appeared completely unmoved by the Australian’s approach and stood their stoically until Kyrgios released him again. Kyrgios denied he wasn’t trying when he was asked – or grilled – about the issue in a press conference after his mixed doubles loss with women’s singles quarterfinalist Madison Keys.

In this clip, he gets into a heated discussion with a line judge about changing his socks mid-set. While Gasquet dismantled No. 11 Grigor Dimitrov 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to march into the fourth round. Gasquet said he did not.

“If you take (my comments) that way then I’m sorry that you take it that way, but I’m not racist at all”, she said, according to Fairfax Media.

As we prepare for the second week of Wimbledon, some of the stars of the tournament uploaded photos to their Instagram accounts over the weekend in order to share their experiences with fans.

. “On and off the court he’s a good player”. He is the brother of ex- British player Anne Keothavong.

“I just know hanging in is key, obviously coming down from two sets to love a year ago”.

Kyrgios was booed by hundreds of fans who rightly felt short-changed by his lack of effort, and it barely improved as he gave up the second set in just 24 minutes.

“See? He’s fine”, Kyrgios said.

So this has sort of taken off… fans covering their faces in weird and wonderful stuff, this time delicious Nutella while sending me positive vibes. I am sure, in the next few years, he will start to maybe calm down a bit on the court and learn to use his emotions more positively more often.

“Of course I tried“.
