WITH Halloween upon us, a few of boxing’s top talents have answered questions about their favourite costumes, scary movies and what spooks them the most. It’s also not acceptable to don blackface when dressing up as a person of color for Halloween.

So here we are at last: Halloween. It’s a ghoul that makes me approximately 10 feet tall when I wear it. I actually got an offer to work at a haunted house because the costume is so great, and I did it for about an hour and a half before I got too cold and had to quit to go inside. We’re meant to see, for the hundredth time in the movie, how superficial and shallow “the Plastics” are.
Over the years Halloween has somehow shifted from nearly exclusively a children-central holiday, to now, being celebrated mostly by the age group of people known as millennials.
Just dress normally and paint your face white. “Instead, now we go door to door and drink beers with our peers”. “It’s been a huge hit”. Several California cities will be filled with Poison Ivy and Batman ensembles, while much of San Francisco and San Diego are celebrating the upcoming Star Wars film with Luke Skywalker costumes. Kids love costumes but they don’t need to be ideal. Make sure the hat is as tacky as possible. Because we don’t understand them, we try to imitate them to get to the point of understanding.
We have reached the busiest time of the semester for most, so for those who are just uninterested in Halloween, last-minute costume ideas are a godsend.
You might have to go to a store for this one, but it’s definitely an affordable costume idea. Note: there’s no such thing as a cat “Good Cop” costume. If someone who obviously isn’t Indian wears a bindi, that’s something people can easily tie back to another culture.

Examples of names of popular Native American costumes for women include “Sexy Native Beauty”, “Poca-Hottie”, “Reservation Royalty” and “Tribal Temptation Native American Costume”. Just the fact that so many women feel that they can only wear revealing clothing that they enjoy on one day out of the year-the one day that we all pretend to be someone or something we’re not-says a lot about our culture’s fear of female sexuality. Whether it’s a pair of glittery mouse ears and hot trousers or a skin tight police officer dress (arrest me, please!), you can always count on seeing these girls parade the night scene on the spookiest night of the year.
