Tinder Now Lets Celebrities Verify Their Profiles

Now, just like on Twitter, verified users will be marked with a blue check. Tinder has officially launched verified profiles today, and just like on Twitter and Facebook, you’ll now see a badge attached to high-profile users that designates they’re exactly who they say they are. To report spam or abuse, click the “X” in the upper right corner of the comment box.

Dating a celebrity is nothing more than a fantasy for the vast majority of us, but thanks to a new Tinder update, famous people that are single and looking for love could be popping up in your Tinder feeds very soon.

Now, Tinder wants you to know if it’s your lucky day and you actually matched with a famous person. When a user encounters a verified Tinder profile, they will see a little blue checkmark next to verified user’s name.

Rumors have been swirling the past few months that various celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Hilary Duff, had started using the dating platform.

Imagine swiping through Tinder and coming across what looks like a celebrity’s photo.
