If BJP loses Bihar elections, Diwali will be in Pak: Amit Shah

“India will celebrate and burst crackers before Pakistan when the BJP loses and we will defeat them with all certainty. Once again he has managed to insult the people of Bihar but this time it has gone below the belt”, Lalu told the media here.

Addressing an election rally in Bihar’s Raxaul yesterday, Shah had said that there will be bursting of fire crackers in Pakistan if his party loses the Assembly polls. The fourth and fifth phase of polling is due on November 1 and November 5 respectively.

Hailing Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for keeping the country intact and united, BJP chief Amit Shah today paid tributes to him in Katihar where he has been camping for the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections.

He said the NDA would form a government committed to the development of the state.

He also brought up former Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Mohammad Shahabuddin, who is now serving a life sentence in prison for kidnapping. “People will teach him and his party a hard lesson in the polls”.

He appealed to the people to ensure victory of BJP “so that disappointment descends in Pakistan”. BJP senior leader L. K. Advani had once praised Mohammed Ali Jinnah. This will only mislead voters, dividing them on the basis of religion.

The BJP delegation, led by Shri Naqvi, also submitted an memorandum to the Election Commission and said the Congress-RJD-JD(U) have been engaged in a conspiracy to disturb communal harmony in the state by making provocative and derogatory statements against BJP leaders. “By giving an irresponsible statement, Amit Shah tried to call everyone who votes in favour of the grand alliance of JD-U, RJD, Congress and other parties as Pakistanis”, he alleged.
