Schneiderlin says United will score goals and challenge for the Premier League
It is the ideal time for the youngster to make a crack at the United starting eleven, and it would make sense for Van Gaal to take a chance as the club’s struggle for goals continues.

Morgan Schneiderlin is not anxious about Manchester United’s barren run in front of goal, the French midfielder confident the Premier League title hopeful will start scoring. A huffing and puffing but ultimately unthreatening Crystal Palace and a stultifying, zing-free Manchester United both got what they deserved.
Louis van Gaal and Ryan Giggs were frustrated as Manchester United continued to fire blanks. “It can change in one match – let that be CSKA, because we need victory”. “It will come if we keep believing”.
We haven’t got the three points today but we have got a good clean sheet and and we move forward now to look ahead to the Liverpool game. “We are disappointed not to win”, he admitted.
He said: “Of course we are in the title race”.
“After the Arsenal game, we’ve shown good character and spirit”. We want to win the title so, to win games, we need to score goals.
Morgan Schneiderlin has said that Manchester United’s goal shortage does not worry him. I had a couple of chances and we created another couple of set piece chances too but we just couldn’t put it in the back of the net.
“It’s still early so there are a lot of games to be played but we are there”.
“Maybe in the second half of the first half we controlled the game, but in the second half we didn’t control the game so you can not talk of balance in the team”.
“Every team is going to go through a period where they don’t score goals and are going to be unlucky”. It was the first time, apart from Arsenal we were not the better team away.

Palace had the best chance to win the game when midfielder Yohan Cabaye turned a shot wide from six metres out after a cross from Joel Ward in the 74th minute.
