AMC Renews ‘The Walking Dead’ For Seventh Season

The good news of “death-actually-happen-2785/”>The Walking Dead” season 7 renewal might quite be bittersweet, taking in the fact the fans of the AMC show are already expecting explosive plotlines for season 6. The Zombies are excited as well. For those who haven’t tuned in, it’s a show in which Chris Hardwick and guests talk us through and react to what we just saw.

The October 25th installment targeted a total of 18.2 million viewers – with 12 million coming from the 18-49 demographic. He is one of the coolest characters out there on “The Walking Dead”, but the show seemed to pick absolutely the worst time known to man in order to give him a spotlight episode. Cinema Blend writer Conner Schwerdtfeger believes the new show could mean that Reedus is ready to leave The Walking Dead.

“We are so proud to share these shows with fans who have been so passionate, communicative and engaged”, he enthused.

The unsurprising recommissions came as the third episode ratings of The Walking Dead put the series back on track, relatively speaking, after numbers for episodes one and two were down on season five.

The network also re-upped “Talking Dead”, the live after-show Chris Hardwick hosts in which each episode is dissected.

“The Walking Dead” TV Series is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.

According to Spoiler TV, Here’s Not Here will be very different from the first three episodes of the season. He will join Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse as executive producers.

Fans who tuned into “The Walking Dead” hoping for a conclusion to last week’s cliffhanger about the fate of Glenn (Steven Yeun) were sorely disappointed. MoviePilot has revealed that the AMC series will continue on for another chapter, soon after season 6 premieres — well, at least after an alleged major character death.
