“In twenty thousand and twelve … sorry, 2012, sorry are we able to do that again?”
The presenter of the programme Gordon Brewer, then had to remind the Minister that the show was running live: “Alright twenty twelve, okay”.
The feeling must be awful to not know you are live on television and make a mistake, what could be worse?
“Oh right, OK. Forgive me, forgive me”, she says.
A plainly shocked Ms Constance’s eyebrows shoot up at the news.
A POLITICIAN has made an embarrassing and awkward gaffe after thinking her interview was being pre-recorded, when it was really going live to air.
“I thought it was a prerecord”.
“I thought it was a pre-record, forgive me”, she said, before launching back into her answer about higher education policy.
