Droid Turbo 2 dropped 70 times in torture test, will it survive?
Launched in an announcement via a video presentation in The Official Motorola Blog, the device boasts the shatterproof property of Motorola’s newest offering. However, the smartphone is said to be launched in India under the name Moto X Force.

In its #ShortestPressAnnouncementEver, Motorola Mobility President Rick Osterloh, tests the phone against two rival flagships by Apple and Samsung.
“The display and embedded lens are warranted against shattering and cracking for four years from the original date of purchase; scratches or other damage to the protective lens is not covered by this warranty, but should always be in place to prevent scratches and other damage to the underlying components”, says Motorola.
It runs with an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with a 2 GHz CPU clock speed. The internal storage can be expanded up to a whopping 2 TB capacity.
Motorola produced the shatterproof display on the Droid Turbo 2 by getting rid of the glass panel altogether, and replacing it with two “lenses”, which are made of a transparent polycarbonate and acrylic polymer.
As for the camera, a 21-megapixel rear camera is present, featuring support for zero shutter delay, coupled with a 5-megapixel front camera with an LED flash beside it. Not only is the battery large, but the handset can be charged with TurboPower quickness, which up to 13 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. In addition, the Moto X Force supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, Global Positioning System and NFC connectivity.

While Motorola may take a while getting its replacement parts ready for all markets, they are expected to be made available eventually, so it doesn’t seem like it would be too much of a problem for anyone wanting a clean, branding-free bezel on their Droid Turbo 2.
