Stone Roses rumour mill goes into overdrive, with lemon logo appearing on
Rumours that The Stone Roses are set to release a new album and tour dates have surfaced again after posters of their iconic logo appeared across Manchester today (2nd November).

Social media is abuzz with speculation an official announcement from the band is imminent.
According to the report, a shopkeeper had been sworn to secrecy over the announcement, which should take place in the next 24 hours.
Not surprisingly, it has made fans discuss what it could all mean, with predictions ranging from a Glastonbury Festival appearance to a long-awaited third studio album.
NME has approached a representative for The Stone Roses but has not received a reply at the time of writing. I know exactly what’s going on…
The Stone Roses formed in Manchester in 1983.
Liam Fray of the The Courteeners and Tim Burgess of The Charlatans have also tweeted 16 lemon emojis leading a few to speculate over whether they will collaborate or tour with The Stone Roses.
When asked if he had “any idea what’s going on with the Roses” the former Oasis singer said: “Yes”.

When the band reformed in 2011 they did promise new material, claiming to have signed a new record contract. It charted their reformation, triumphant homecoming gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park and beyond.
