Le’Veon Bell Injury: Steelers Running Back Doubtful To Return Vs. Bengals

In Pittsburgh, Bell was carted off the field with a knee injury in the Steelers’ loss to Cincinnati and Browns cornerback Joe Haden and safety Donte Whitner both left the game against Arizona with concussions.

From Steve Smith to Le’Veon Bell to a pair of Pro Bowl defenders in Cleveland, it was another rough day for injuries to a few of the NFL’s biggest stars.

With that in mind, Brady talked about how coach Bill Belichick employs the “next man up” philosophy that every football coach must adhere to in order to combat what’s less of an injury risk and more of an injury inevitability.

Smith came into the game as Baltimore’s leading receiver with 41 receptions for 588 yards and three touchdowns. DeAngelo Williams likely would take over if Bell has to miss any time for Pittsburgh. Ian Rapoport reports that Bush has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and the injury happened in the first quarter when Bush was returning a punt.
