The latter will of course be playing Captain Phasma, a villainous Stormtrooper in The First Order who it’s believed will be tracking down the rogue Finn. Even though they’re not really connected with The Force Awakens, I had to share them anyway to keep us all in the Star Wars mood.

There’s so much to be excited about when it comes to The Force Awakens-not the least of which is the character of Captain Phasma, played by Game of Thrones and Hunger Games star Gwendoline Christie.
Furthermore, her armour is not sculpted to her body, giving her an androgynous shape and making a change from female characters’ often skimpy dress (Wonder Woman, we’re looking at you). For one Star Wars fan however, theres a very real chance that he may not make it to December 18th, and hes hoping Disney can help him by letting him see the new film before he passes away from cancer.
The ban on lightsabers was revealed by Cinemark via posters advertising the December release; in small print below information about pre-sale for The Force Awakens is the legend, “Star Wars costumes are welcome”.
