Later on Monday, a 71-year-old man was stabbed and seriously wounded in Netanya by a Palestinian man from the West Bank, according to the Times.

Four Israelis have been injured and two Palestinians shot, one fatally, in three alleged attacks in central Israeli cities and the West Bank as violence continues to grip Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory.
This comes on the heels of an earlier stabbing attack in Rishon LeZion, which left three Israelis wounded, two of them critically. A 23-year-old Palestinian from another West Bank city was found responsible for the second attack.
It’s the third attempted stabbing near the checkpoint in recent weeks, and the latest in a six-week period of violence.
“We have arrested one of you, we will slaughter and kill him infront of your eyes”, the officer continues, referring to a 25-year-old Palestinian who was arrested on Thursday.
October also saw a spike in the number of Palestinians injured by Israeli forces in demonstrations that took place across the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza.
Nine Israelis have died in stabbing or shooting incidents in the same period.
Yitzhak Scharf of Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center said that 80-year-old woman was stabbed in the back and waist and sustained damage to blood vessels and fractured her hip.
A 70-year-old Jewish-Israeli man was stabbed by a Palestinian assailant in Netanya.

The clashes erupted after Palestinian students at Al-Quds University in Abu Dis gathered at the foot of the barrier separating the town from Jerusalem to demonstrate against Israeli measures. “Yesterday, President Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of putting to death, executing an innocent Palestinian boy”, said Netanyahu at a press conference. “The statement meant to terrorize an occupied civilian population”, said Azza citing the statement as a clear threat to kill Palestinians by way of extrajudicial executions. “There is mounting evidence that, as tensions have risen dramatically, in a few cases Israeli forces appear to have ripped up the rulebook and resorted to extreme and unlawful measures”, said Philip Luther, Amnesty’s Middle East and North Africa programme director.
