The Grammy-winning singer will headline the special “Adele Live in New York City” at 10 p.m. December 14 on NBC. Fans already know the sob-inducing singer’s next album, 25, will be dropping on November 20.

The prime-time special will be produced by Lorne Michaels, and Beth McCarthy-Miller will direct. Yes, Adele may have appeared on a few radio shows over the past week, but she’s not performed Hello live yet, and the single is on course to become the fastest-selling single of 2015 later this afternoon on the Official United Kingdom singles chart.
Her second album, 21 has earned a numerous awards in 2012.

The BBC concert will be recorded in front of a live audience on November 2, although the exact transmission date is yet to confirmed.
