It seems that Microsoft is now taking pre-orders for its latest flagships, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, it seems that now you can pre-order these two devices via the Microsoft stores in the UK. These shipping dates are usually subject to change, so we sincerely hope that customers in the U.S. who pre-order their Lumias from B&H Photos will be able to to get them earlier. Notably, B&H is offering the Lumia 950 at 9.99 and the Lumia 950XL at 9.99, the latter at a bit under the pricing available at the Microsoft Store.
The shipping of the pre-orders starts on December 3 for the United Kingdom, while the timing in France has yet to be confirmed. Microsoft Lumia 950 can now be pre-ordered in France for €562.6 ($619 USD), 6% less from its €599 ($660 USD) original price, WMPoweruser reports. Both devices have iris-scanning technology to support Windows Hello, which enables users to unlock the gadget at a glance.
Rumours afloat in the tech industry suggest that the Snapdragon 820 will remain Microsoft’s newest chipset. Both handsets also house 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded through an external microSD card, and a 20-megapixel shooter that features the Carl Zeiss optics and triple LED flash. In its size alone, the Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2-inch screen while the Lumia 950 XL comes with a bigger phablet size of 5.7 inches.
The Lumia 950 XL is actually the thinner of the two phones, although it is also the heavier one.

As a reminder, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are Microsoft’s high-end smartphone offerings and come with plenty of bells and whistles to make them worthy of the flagship title. On the other hand, the price cuts ahead of launch also raise questions of whether they’re meant to counter the weak initial demand for the smartphones.
