“I’m not as prescriptive as with the Potter books”, she said.

For a woman who could have never worked another day in her life after the conclusion of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
She added: “I sometimes worry I’ll die before I’ve written them all out”.
‘That’s my mid-life crisis, that I’ll leave this earth without having written them all’.
DAVID GREENE, BYLINE: Yeah, J.K. Rowling can no longer really hide behind the fake name Robert Galbraith. “I have plans to write novels – in the plural – as JK Rowling again but I’m not going to give you an absolute date because things are busy enough”. “Actually I have written part of a children’s book that I love, so I’ll definitely finish that”.
As for future adult fiction, Rowling assured fans on BBC Radio 2 that she has many more ideas. I personally had no particular desire to write it as a novel for reasons I think will become clear when people see the play. And at the point where we meet him in the very first book, he is absolutely on his uppers, in a way that I too have experienced, in that he is as poor as you can be without being homeless. I felt a little disappointed.
Rowling also revealed how she gave herself sleepless nights writing the third Strike book, Career Of Evil, which is out now.
“I read a lot of police reports and accounts of serial killers. I did happen to know someone, although the person I know who’s ex-Special Investigation Branch is female, not male but she was very generous in letting me interview her extensively about what her career had been like”. “I’ve had a crush on many, many a guitarist”. There were things I had in my head about what happened later… “There will will be another children’s book”, the author said. So I’m happy to talk in general themes, but when we get down to specifics about my family, for me that’s always been off limits.

Much like Mugglenet, the Leaky Cauldron posts news about Rowling’s new “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” play and “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” movie. That research involved reading case studies of real psychopaths, in order to grasp a mind set that is so far removed from her own.
