What appeared to be a giant meteor blazed over Thailand Sunday, briefly turning the night sky a dramatic green.

A bright fireball lit up the night sky above Bangkok on Monday, as an objected suspected to be a meteor burnt up in the atmosphere over Thailand.
An eyewitness told a radio station: “I could see it clearly in Chum Pphae district, Khon Kaen province”.
Writing on its Facebook page, the Thai Astronomical Society said the shooting star seen from Bangkok could be described as a “fireball”, given its brightness.
