As other Twitter users pointed out, Indoor Survey may be a way for business users to funnel data to Apple’s MapsConnect, an app that lets businesses “add or correct information to help your customers find you in Apple Maps”. As extra locations undertake indoor positioning, Apple’s new app may make it less complicated to broaden and make use of such knowledge.

The developer complains that in its current form, Apple TV owners will only be able to see what Apple decides to feature.
Users who want to downlaod the new app either on their Android or iOS devices first needs to get an invite.
