Speaking to to the press about possible loan players, Steve Evans said “I have given a list to [head of recruitment] Martyn Glover and to the owner of a number of players that we think can help us”.

On top of that, the Bluebirds have won five and lost none of their last eight trips to Elland Road in league competition.

The only glimmer of action in the opening exchanges was a half-hearted penalty appeal from Leeds striker Mirco Antenucci, and the action rarely got better than that before the break.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder moved to the Stadium of Light in the 2014 January transfer window is surplus to requirements after failing to live up to the standards of the Premier League.

A clash between Cardiff City and Leeds United in footballing terms is all about one thing – history!

Evans was appointed as Leeds manager last month, but is yet to claim his first victory in charge of the club, who now sit 19th in the Championship just three points above the relegation zone.

The Leeds United fans in The Transfer Tavern are pleased that the manager is finally working on adding to a squad which has struggled for form so far this season!

Leeds’ Steve Evans has been forced into changes due to Sol Bamba’s suspension and Tom Adeyemi being ineligible against his parent club, but the boss insisted he would’ve made changes regardless.
