Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows 10 operating system continues to gain converts at a rapid pace, reaching almost 8% market share worldwide after just three months on sale.

The Redmond-based software giant has updated their Windows Lifecycle Fact Sheet to include October 31, 2016 as the end of sales date for PCs with a previous version of OS.
Windows PC owners loved Windows 7 and hated Windows 8, but soon they will not be able to buy a new computer without Windows 10.

Windows Insider head Gabriel Auln wrote, “You can now use Microsoft Edge to cast video, picture, and audio content from your browser to any Miracast and DLNA enabled device on your network”. Moreover, what’s really exciting is that Microsoft is planning to incorporate Continuum feature in Redstone, which is pretty similar to OS X Continuity like features offered by Apple.
