Remembrance Sunday Parade 2015 in Hedon

Rassau and Beaufort will hold a service on Sunday at 1.25pm in the Beaufort Ballroom, proceeding via the main entrance of Beaufort Theatre onto Beaufort Rise, down Beaufort Hill and into the cenotaph where the service of remembrance will begin at approximately 1.55pm.

Welwyn – Councillors from County, Borough and Parish, will assemble at the Parish Rooms, Lockley Drive at 10.30am to collect wreaths.

Heaton Mersey: 10.45am – Service at St John’s Church, St John’s Road.

Following the service, the parade will disperse, and all of those taking part are invited to the Millfield Club, where light refreshments and live entertainment will be provided for the participants.

In Monmouthshire, the council will mark two minutes’ silence on Wednesday, 11 November by firing rockets at 11am and 11.02am from castles in Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow and Monmouth.

Cheadle: 10.30am – Parade to assemble at junction of Massie Street with High Street to proceed down High Street to war memorial.

Kirklevington: Service at the Church of St Martin and St Hilary, Forest Lane, at 10.30am, followed by an act of remembrance at the Richardson Grave. It will reassemble at 11.15am for the march to the Salvation Army Citadel for a service.

This will be followed by the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial outside the Cathedral at 10.50am when wreaths will be laid.

All will arrive at the war memorial outside Bury Parish Church at 10.55am.

On Sunday, a civic service will be held at Stockport War Memorial in the town centre.

The event will take place between 10.45am and 12.30pm and will affect roads including Hall Croft, West End, Church Street, Middle Street and Chilwell Road. It will move onto the Market Hall Cinema for a two minute silence at 11am followed by a service.

Norton: Service in St Michael and All Angels Church, Imperial Avenue, Norton, at 3pm.

In Pontnewynydd at 10.45am a service will take place at St Cadoc’s Church, Trevethin.

Following the service, the parade march to the former District Office, High Street.

This will be followed by a service in St Giles Church, Hamilton Close, for those who wish to attend.

South Bank: Service at St John’s Parish Church at 9.30am, followed by service of remembrance and wreath-laying at the war memorial, King George’s Square, at 10.45am.

Teesville: Service and wreath-laying in Eston Cemetery, next to the war graves, on Saturday, November 7 at 10am.
