Ben Carson making book-signing stops in Bay area today
Dr. Ben Carson, a Republican presidential candidate who is now leading the Republican field in most national polls, is scheduled to be in Panama City tonight.

Carson will be at Books A Million on Thomasville Road in northeast Tallahassee beginning from 11:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. Monday. After an audience member asked Carson about running as an independent-Carson said he wouldn’t “want to fracture” the GOP by doing so-the retired neurosurgeon referred to an ambiguous “they” who he accused of infiltrating the American media and school system with the goal of “fundamentally changing this nation”.
It’s on the New York Times best sellers list, and is a #1 seller among Amazon’s top political reads.
Carson’s remarks about stupid Americans and the insidious plotting of unidentified elements to sneakily seize key American institutions were in sync with previous statements from this political novice who recently vaulted to the front of the Republican pack.
Skousen apparently shares other ideas with Carson, who has once again overtaken rival Donald Trump in the most recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. He’s in Sarasota today.
Tomorrow, he makes stops in Kendall, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton.

In his book, A More ideal Union, Carson talks about the importance of understanding the Constitution in dealing with the most controversial issues of today from gay marriage to gun control. You will then be given a ticket to wait in line to get the book signed.
