It is not clear if her lack of training was a factor in Bobbi Kristina’s death, but there are suspicions.

A Georgia woman who was one of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s caregivers at the Georgia hospice where she died has been arrested for impersonating a nurse.

Taiwo Sobamowo, 33, impersonated a licensed nurse and cared for Whitney Houston’s daughter at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga.

Duluth police Capt. Mark Hunter said Wednesday that investigators want to talk to people who had loved ones or friends who were under the care of Taiwo Sobamowo.

In a statement, Homestead Hospice CEO Mallie Sharafat said the company performed a background check on Sobamowo and reviewed references from other health care agencies in the area. She was terminated from the facility on August 5 after she was unable to provide the proper proof of licensure.

Bobbi Kristina was placed in an induced coma in January after being found face down in a bathtub at the Atlanta home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon.

“Additional warrants were issued for Sobamowo which included felony Financial Identity Fraud and felony Forgery”, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said. She’s being held on charges of being a fugitive from another state. In June, the family chose to move her to hospice care.

Sharafat added that the company has since taken “further precautions”, including re-credentialing all their care staff.

The jail allegedly had no record of an attorney representing her. She was brought back to Forsyth County and arrived this morning, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez said.

In September, the county medical examiner said the cause has been determined, but the autopsy results would not be publicly revealed because of a court order to seal the results.
