Like I said, if you beat me up, you punch me in the face, you’re kicking me and beating me up, and you double leg me, take me down, and you’re flat out beating me up and then you snatch this technique and then you beat me with a kneebar. And I’m defenseless by myself with them and all their translators. But if you’re in a cage and you’re so terrified, petrified by the other person’s presence that you would dive across the cage, to me that’s not a fighter, man. You should be in NAGA in a gi and stuff. I’m still pretty and still focused on my fight even though these cowards jumped me.
Brooks has yet to release said video footage. He did, however, post a picture of a bloodied grey t-shirt, but has since deleted the pic.
Freire would quickly jump to Twitter in attempt to give his side of he story while claiming it was actually Brooks that had initiated the violent exchange. The first time it was a close fight, the second time it was clear as day and decisive, I finished him.
The accusations were initially met with a heavy dose of skepticism, considering that Brooks and the Freire brothers have a past of not getting along, and with many questioning why Brooks would immediately use Twitter to air his grievances if he had just been assaulted.
It looks like a few fighting has occurred at Bellator 145 before the weigh-ins ever took place.
“I think he’s a very talented guy as far as jiu-jitsu goes in leg locks and knee bars, but overall, I don’t see him being a real threat to me in any other aspect”.

We were separated.” Patricio Freire is scheduled to defend his 145-pound title against rival Daniel Straus in the main event of Bellator 145, which takes place at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
