Marco Rubio Plans to Release Credit Card Records
In one instance he put a $10,000 family reunion on the card – a mistake he attributes to his travel agent. “It doesn’t say who they belong to, but every expense is on there”, he said. “A charge card, you have to pay off at the end of the month”.

“In 2010, when a few of his spending was revealed, Rubio said he repaid $16,052 in personal expenses charged to the party credit card in 2007-2008”, the Times reminded us.
There was also an issue within the same year where Rubio admitted to double-billing state taxpayers and the Republican Party of Florida for eight plane tickets. The Florida senator said it was an accident and he would write a check to the party for the flights, valued at $2,400. Rival candidate Donald Trump criticized Rubio for the position Tuesday, saying that his statements disqualified the senator from being president.
Speaking with ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, Rubio answered questions about his financial history brought up by his opponents and media investigations. Rubio, to date, has refused to release records that fully detail how those funds were used. But when the curtain is pulled back, we have Marco Rubio clutching his old credit card statements and refusing to let you see them. Marco Rubio in the 2016 contest, the Florida Republican’s third senate endorsement in as many days.
“Every month a bill came to my house and I would review it. If there was something personal I paid for it. If it was political the party paid for it. I didn’t pay for it after the fact, I paid during the time”, Rubio insisted. “If there was a personal expense, I paid it. If it was a party expense, the party paid it. Now, I recognize in hindsight I would do it different to avoid all this confusion”. The Floridian conceded several years ago that the story “looks bad”, adding, “I shouldn’t have done it that way”.
“He certainly lives above his means, there’s no question about that”, Trump told reporters at a press conference in New York.
Rubio dismissed that comment as another example of Trump being Trump.
‘I’m sorry, ‘ he told Stephanopoulos.
As Rubio rises in state and national polls, new scrutiny is being made of his positions and supporters.
“How’s [Hillary Clinton] going to say that I don’t understand the plight of people that are struggling in America when I myself – through my parents and our upbringing – lived it?”
In the letter, Singer described Rubio as the only candidate who can “navigate this complex primary process, and still be in a position to defeat” Hillary Clinton, the New York Times reported.

As it turned out, Rubio owns EdgeWater 245CC Deep-V Center Console – a fishing boat. Rubio bought it, and two new engines, for the listed price out of the $800,000 advance he received his memoir.
