Birthday Presents from Diddy: Releases “MMM” Album Today

But Diddy‘s friend and fellow rapper Rick Ross previous year said it stood for “Money Making Mitch”, a reference to the 2002 film “Paid in Full” about drug-dealing in New York before the crack craze in the 1980s.

The 12-track MMM explores the rap mogul’s “hustling spirit” and beginnings in Harlem, according to a press release. But Diddy also makes clear how he earned his wealth – and why he is often heard rather than seen – on his track “Workin”.

“MMM” is available now on Apple Music, Spotify and SoundCloud.

“Before I used to make records when I made my music”, he told the crowd of insiders, Billboard reports.

Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, Lil’ Kim, Future, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana and more are reported to be featured on the mixtape.

Earlier today Combs took to Instagram to make an announcement about the release of his newest music. Today is my birthday and I decided that all day I’m just going to walk around the city of New York and spend it with my people! I’m dropping [an] album – a sonic motion picture today – and it’s going to be free. “Ladies and gentlemen, listen and watch a few fashion”.
