The former San Francisco 49ers tight end chatted with Broncos media, and naturally he got questions about his time in San Francisco.

The Niners were the only pro team Davis knew.
“Oh man, he is mismatch”.

“We had to go up against him in training camp”. The mismatches that he provides against safeties and linebackers is tremendous. From what we found out spending a few time with the players, that’s not going to happen this year.

Davis is leaving a sinking ship in San Fransisco. The Broncos limited the three teams to 47 points and an average of 258.3 yards per game. Since snaring 13 touchdown catches in 2013, he’s only scored twice in the past 20 games.
Doesn’t seem like it will be a major storyline this week, but the Broncos last loss… to the Colts in the divisional round of last season’s playoffs.
The 49ers have lost six of their last seven games.
OK, that’s not verbatim, but Davis attributed his decline in production to issues with his ex-team. “Somebody else asked me that, Why would I be ticked?”
“Look at the year when I started to drop off, and what happened with the team”, Davis said, according to the Denver Post. They started to fall all in.
